We, Prakriti Pragya Foundation, are a Kathmandu-based not-for-profit
research organization committed to generating research knowledge,
credible evidence and insights to inform policy and practice. We
engage with the government, research organizations, academia, civil
society, and the private sector to make our ideas work. We aim to
generate lasting impact in society toward a more equitable, prosperous
and sustainable future.
PPF collaborates with Nepali and international organizations as well
as individual researchers and practitioners in better understanding
the change and transformations in society, environment, and governance
landscape. We produce evidence for the governments, civil society, and
private sector to better make sense of the changes and underlying
drivers and dynamics. Our research involves meaningful engagements
with stakeholders so that they have the space and voice to reflect in
our findings. Our research enables the government, civil society, and
private sector to understand profound changes happening around us and
subsequently to adapt and respond to them.
PPF envisions to establish itself as a trusted and credible research and policy organization through scholarly, analytical, insightful and politically informed knowledge. We aim to create meaningful impact to inform policy and practices for more equitable, sustainable, and environmentally responsible world.
Our mission is to engage in high-quality impact-driven research and evidence-based analysis dedicated to fostering sustainable solutions through collaborative research with national and international research organizations, and by engaging with governments, civil society, development sectors, and businesses.
